Please read the following information carefully. If you have any concerns or queries, please speak to your English teacher as soon as possible.
1. Practice SAC and feedback. KK3 will serve as your practice SAC. You are to complete this over the holidays. The sooner you post it to StudyTurf, the sooner you will get feedback. In order to receive feedback before the SAC you need to post it by Friday 18th April. This is the due date for KK3, however earlier submissions will benefit you. 2. SAC prompt The SAC prompt will be put on the weebly at 9am on Monday the 21st of April (follow link from homepage). This is a public holiday (Easter Monday). This will give you the opportunity to plan prior to the SAC and ask questions where needed. You should also write your written explanation which you will be able to bring into the SAC with you. 3. Extra class in lieu of Monday There will be an extra English class run between 3pm and 4.30pm on Tuesday the 22nd of April to assist students in preparing for their SAC. This is particularly to support students in Ms Kelly’s class who will miss their Monday class. It is highly recommended that students attend this class. Both Ms Kelly and Ms Ilyine will be there. 4. The SAC Finally a reminder that as per the Unit Plan, the SAC for AOS 2 will be completed on Wednesday the 23rd April for Ms Kelly’s class and Thursday 24th April for Ms Ilyine’s class. You may only bring a dictionary, water bottle and pens/highlighters/pencils and your written explanation into the SAC. 5. SAC Criteria Key knowledge and skills and SAC criteria descriptors for Outcome 2 are available here.
