Welcome to Year 12 English 2015!!!!
There are several things to do before the start of the year: 1. Have a look around. Familiarise yourself with the weebly and check out the assessment for Unit 3. Find the study design and read it, check out past exams and examiners reports. You will notice that all of the KK tasks and SAC details are up for Unit 3 so you can be familiar with them and be ready to start 2015 in the right way. 2. Make sure you get onto your holiday homework (don't leave it til the last minute). Go to the 'homework' tab and plan when you are going to set aside time to do the tasks listed. You must plan and prepare your oral presentation as you will be presenting it early in Term One. You must be ready to present by Week 2 of Term One. 3. Fill out the Year 11 Reflection doc. This will help you reflect on your performance in year 11 English and help us to identify areas that you would like help with- it's located in the menu bar at the top. 4. Enjoy your break/get rejuvenated! Next year will be challenging and rewarding and it will go VERY quickly. There's a lot to do before October 28th 2015!! If you have any questions or concerns feel free to email Ms Kelly ([email protected]) or Ms Ilyine ([email protected]). We'll see you on the first day of Term 1, rested and ready to go! |
