Hi all, you should have received this on your email also, but here it is again:
1. Finish KK1, including a fully completed written piece (you need at least one of these, do more if you want to - the more ideas you have to draw from, the easier the SAC will be). 2. Re-read This Boy's Life. 3. Complete a timed (60 minute) Will you please be quiet, please? handwritten essay on one of the following questions: ‘The characters in Carver’s stories are more connected to a sense of place than they are to other characters.’ Discuss OR ‘In Will you please be quiet, please?, Carver presents lives that seem hopeless.’ Discuss 4. Complete a language analysis from the 'section 'C' practice exams file: http://scsc12vceenglish.weebly.com/aos-3-exam-revision.html Do one that you have not done before, make sure it is handwritten and timed (70 minutes).

Some things to work on today...
1. I have left your practise SACs on my desk- if anyone wants to get theirs you can find them in a plastic pocket- read through the feedback I have given and have a go at rewriting at least two of the paragraphs. Give yourself a time limit (perhaps 10 minutes per paragraph) 2. Continue to work on the KK tasks. Most of you are up to KK3. You should aim to submit this task by the end of the week to ensure there is plenty of time to get feedback- bang it out!!! 3. Be prepared for tomorrow- I need you firing as we will be tackling time management. See you tomorrow:) |
